Our Story

The development of ESNY initiated as a critical response to unfair government practices regarding the city's Hospitality industry surrounding NY's Restaurants and Bars who were specifically singled out.   

First, we needed to develop a process in which we could scientifically prove our establishments are by far the safest places to be in all of NYC regardless of what's going on in the world or the media.

Secondly, it was then that we decided to step up, pull together and form an alliance of local Restaurateurs and Hospitality Professionals to help the industry not only pull through the pandemic and all the variants to follow but forever increase tourism interest and profitability for our independent establishments.

Third, while our rights were being re-established and our ability to serve the public was underway we wanted to provide the highest level of piece of mind and sense of security to our local residents and massive tourist industry and supply the people with a directory of all the safest, most regulated, highly decontaminated establishments on the planet where they can comfortably sit and enjoy a meal or a drink without fear of getting sick.

While knowing these establishments are regulated and consistently decontaminated hundreds of times throughout the day and their personal space was decontaminated moments before they sat down. 

Thus providing the highest level of personal security in the world not only to the consumers but also the employees working in these protected establishments in or out of a pandemic.

Restaurants have previously spent upwards of $40,000 on cleaner air and state of the art filtration systems but if nobody knows about it and they are not adhering to a consistent routine to ensure the consumers personal space is free of all viruses, variants and bacteria the effects are dismal.

With a commitment to a designated process, receiving a specific designation and badge of honor by a public authority and being held accountable provides our members with the highest level of  health and safety any business could have. By putting them in a directory promoted to millions of residents  and visitors through multiple channels gets them easily found and increases their business significantly.

By making that directory a source for the consumer to order food at the lowest cost possible and get serviced directly by their favorite restaurants gives them not only a reliable source but also one that saves them a significant amount of money. 

This all new 100% commission free non- profit revenue stream is the only app owned by the members of the Movement and allows them to keep nearly all of their hard earned money increasing the profit margins  in the most significant way we have ever seen in the digital age.

Members also keep all their own customer data and can even deliver their own food if they choose allowing their customers to get their food Hotter, Faster, Fresher and Un-Tampered with.  

This is why the EatSafeNY Movement is by far the most important thing any Independent Restaurant or Bar in NYC can do for their selves right now and long into the future.
